Status of Water District

To:  Epsom Village District Water Customers:  As you know, the District has been operating without a Clerk/Secretary, Treasurer, or third Commissioner.  On August 15th, Commissioner Tim Denison resigned, leaving the District in the same situation it was back in April, when just one Commissioner remained, leaving lack of quorum. The District has in communication with both NH Dept. of Environmental Services and the Town Select Board. The way forward is unclear at this time.  A notification will be mailed to ALL town residents informing them of a town wide meeting which is scheduled for September 21st.  In the meantime, the most valuable action from a District perspective would be for someone to step forward to fill a second Commissioner slot to help navigate the current situation.
